At Crane Eater Community Church our out-cry is for revival. That is, revival within, a revival that permeates through out. In other words, it brings a cleansing within, that works its way out. According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, God makes you a new creation... Old is passed away, all things become new!
Receive that scripture above that you just read, it’s a verse for you. God placed your name on it!
Revival is not revival if it does not touch and help heal others— Revival is for the multitudes. However, before revival can spread it has to become infectious within any local body of Christ. Yes, revival is for the church!
In return, our marriages and relationships become deep-wells for all to learn and draw from. If our marriages are lacking, it will show. We are to cherish one another.
Revival is a re-veiling of oneself, the ugliness within makes ‘one’ turn to Jesus, the all-time-clean-one. The all Holy One. I AM Who I AM.
Revival is renewal, renewed insight, fresh focus, mixed with new vision. A new vision makes the body of Christ excited again. It gives the body focus, and a awareness that what we do, and how we give is very important. Because CECC has focus and needs, both inside this local body and all the missions we support. Revival brings new beginnings. Again, revival produces new attitudes, a change in direction, a new outlook, fresh vision, change, New thought life, and yes, a band new tongue, a tamed tongue. Please don’t just skip over these verses. Please read them, it’s God’s Word to us.
James 3:1-12NLT Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
3 We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. 4 And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong. 5 In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches.
But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. 6 And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.
7 People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, 8 but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. 10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
11 Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? 12 Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring.
Revival means—The things that once made you cuss, now make you praise the Lord!
Most of all the key focus of revival is—salvation.Nothing compares to being born from above. Older Theologians called this—redemption lift, that is salvation changing a persons entire focus. Redemption makes ‘one’ joyful, it opens the eyes, so they may see clearly. The attitude becomes friendly, and our faith reaches out and touches others. In return, we begin to pray for others, and touch others, through our Christian walk.
Say the name of Jesus with authority—
He’s given you rightful authority to say His name. Demons have to take flight in and through Jesus’ name!
Until He returns on the clouds of the air, He has given you His precious Holy Spirit. He’s your teacher, Your comforter, One who sticks closer than any brother.
The Holy Spirit is God’s passage way to Him. I want us to stop for just a minute and thank God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Father God, Thank you Jesus, for giving humanity the Holy Spirit to keep us well. Amen.
Love, Favor and Blessings! Pastor Howard and Jenny.
