2019 Awana Race Day
Awana Helps Leaders and Parents Work together to develop Spiritually strong children and Youth who faithfully follow jesus christ.
As a ministry leader for 60 years, Awana is making an impact, especially at Crane Eater Community Church. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni's spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in our programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults!
Each week, more than 1.5 million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in Awana. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and more than 10,000 internationally run Awana programs that change young lives through biblical truth. Crane Eater is proud to be one of those churches.
Our AWANA Program is led by Megan Stephens.
AWANA stands for "approved workmen are not ashamed", 2 Timothy 2:15.
AWANA runs for 10 months on the same schedule of the Gordon County School System. Our AWANA leaders teach and train our children to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ through scripture. AWANA is for all age groups from 3 years old through high school. AWANA consist of handbook, council, music and game time every Wednesday night. AWANA is a fun and exciting
approach to learning the Word of God. During the summer months we continue fun AWANA events to keep our children engaged in the Word of God. We have a great AWANA program here and we hope every child will come and experience all AWANA has to offer.
Come experience our Awana every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM EST. We also offer a free community-wide dinner that begins at 5:45 PM EST every Wednesday as well (unless otherwise announced at church). So come and bring your family every Wednesday and experience what God is doing!
