We Celebrate Passover, Because He’s the Great—Passover! —By Pastor Howard.

Faith in God leads to passovers, and God’s passover’s are good! Israel traveled into Egypt after living in the promised land because it was part of God’s plan. Israel was persecuted, but the more ill will, the more they grew.

A few passovers I would like to mention—I call them God-overs. God saved every Hebrew from the visitation of death. His instructions to them was to ‘apply the blood from a spotless lamb’ and paint it on the door-post of every Hebrews house, and when I see the blood, I will pass-over that particular house.

Exodus 12:13NIV "The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."

Then the Red Sea, from human perspective, the Children of Israel were surrounded by Egyptians, and with the Red Sea in front of them. However, God had great plan for His people. As Moses lifted his staff in the air, the water stood straight-up and allowed Gods people to cross over—a mile wide sea, onto dry ground. Israel was completely safe. God speaks in the year 2020, “Passover!”

Later, Moses died and the children of God mourned for 30 days. During this time, God chose Joshua to captain the Israelites.

God gave Joshua advance notice, Where you go I go! Wow. His first mission would be to cross-over the Jordan River in the same fashion as the Israelites crossed over the Red Sea— by faith.

The Priest took the first step and the Jordon River split as God’s children passed over.

Again, by faith the priest put one foot into this flooded river, and God did the rest. Think about this, One step of faith, and God does the rest. He passes-over. Passover!

Time and time again, as God’s people responded to the impossible, God responds and makes it possible.

In Exodus 23:25AMP "You shall serve [only] the Lord your God, and He shall bless your bread and water. I will also remove sickness from among you."

Now move on up to 2020, Jesus shed His sinless blood for the remission of our sins. When God sees the blood of His only Son applied by our act of faith, God passes over you.

Because of Jesus, all your wrongs are made right. You are totally 100% forgiven.

I think it’s always appropriate to thank God in Jesus’ name that you have been made whole, or made right by faith, because of

His grace. Nothing you earned, and nothing you deserve. He’s made you a Kings kid.

Let’s give Him all the praise He deserves! We celebrate Passover, because He’s the great—Passover!
